Getting WLS and Why I Chose The Sleeve

Getting WLS and Why I Chose The Sleeve
I had this in college. It recurred at age 26, I had it removed and ten years later it came back! I had surgery 8 days ago. My recovery hasn’t been too bad thankfully.
I’m really curious about how can you do the dressing change on your behind? Did you have to use a mirror? Did you have to stuff it? Or just apply a gauze on top then tape? Do you have to apply a bacitracin? Do you just wash it with shower spray?
When you had your surgery was there a lot of blood during recovery?
Did u shower immediately after ? In just bring home from my surgery and im wondering
So what did you do having the same problem lol
I got mine done yesterday and In a lot of pain. I had ingrown hair and I wanted to know what cushion should I use
Just had this today they sent me home with ibuprofen. The “ opioid crisis” you know
Thanks ❤
How long after surgery do u recommend working out
How long does the wound heal?
Love your hair like this… absolutely stunning….
I had the surgery like 4 weeks ago & the recovery hasn’t been so bad , I’m back to working out and exercising but still take it easy , if your experiencing this get the surgery, it’s worth it , don’t live with that pain because your scared to get surgery like I was , after I got it I felt free
Does the actual procedure hurt?? Like immediately after surgery how did u feel?
I did this surgery (same location) two weeks ago, under a sedative anesthesia. The entire operation and recovery took 4 hours for me. was really easy and didn't hurt at all that day. Along the following week I had pains sitting. When I checked in with the doctor after a week he took out the stitches (although had some conflict whether it should be kept for an additional week, since the wound didn't heal as expected). There's a slow drip of what seems to be puss., even after two weeks. I highly recommend people going through this surgery to have ready a large box of gauze pads and long medical plaster tape so you can use it to hold the gauze on the wound. So far, besides the nasty puss and the fact I have a second hole down there, it's going pretty smooth. thank you for sharing your experience :)
Congratulations to you 🎉👏😍 I am happy for you to be able to have skin removal surgery but you have no reason to lose weight dear.😮😢 Your male subscribers are patiently waiting for you to get your other surgery ie cosmetic.😡😆🤣😂🤪😁 JK. 😜 Take care.👍🔥❤️💪👌

Just found your video. I have that kind of cyst. On Monday I have to call and schedule surgery. Currently on antibiotics and a lot of pain. Dreading surgery! BUTT I can say that we have backgrounds. I had RNY(‘13) tummy tuck and lift(‘16). Love the journey that you shared on this platform. Can you tell me how you managed your pain/life the first 24 to 72 hours after pilo cyst removal?? Was it any worse or better than your other surgeries? You say kicked by a horse, I’m feeling MAC truck kicking my butt. Thanks for your reply.
Lying on the side hurts my legs a lottt fr....just had my surgery almost 2 weeks ago.....goodness i hate the recovery process but yeahhh.....gotta get through this.
I first noticed mine when i was 16 im now 39 and it is so bad idk what to do im so scared of the dr and on top of that the shame they will put me thru it is so big and uncomfortable. It drains in multiple spots its disgusting. Ive read it will just come back im so scared i dont have insurance its dumb
It was 8 making the operation easy but after it little bit stressful and taking time for recovery

As a mom who is packing for my son... Those strips behind you ( no pun intended hahaha) remind me of those.... Haha. 8 to 10 weeks???? What... 7 weeks out of surgery. Im the packing queen now! Where the packing is no way he can do it for himself. Thank you for this. He is 18.. this seems never ending.. Doing my best to be a good mama. I think the after surgery drain freaked me out the most... You care takers out there, I'm here! I have an amazing nurse who showed me EVERYTHING!!! I was so lost... Its BRUTAL for SURE!!! My son did this to get into the Military . Dang... Lets get finical aid for college. This was too much!!!
Just got home from the surgery, hopefully yours is still gone.
As opposed to my mercenary ex-biatch..... she couldnt rush fast enough....
How long did it take for the drainage to end after surgery?
I had mine 45 years ago.
My is 99% healed after almost a year and a half. Stopped hurting after probably a few weeks I think
Took over a year for my wound to heal
What were the symptoms first I thought I pulled a muscle
Thankyou I'm freaking out The dosolvable stitches hurt for ever
In six days, it will be my turn 😵💫
Gonna go through this on Wednesday 😵💫
this video is 5 years old, did it come back? I will have surgery next week and they will totally close the wound but I think they will put a tube inside connected to the outside in order to drain stuff. super scared.
Just had mine today. Been trying to read the comments on what to expect. Hope your doing alright
I'm 50 and had the exact same surgery on July 1st and it was great to watch your video. You've given me hope in some areas I had none but it was funny to watch you're first video a minute ago, being a month in, hearing ur optimism. My question is what insurance did u have? I lost my job with a shoulder injury I was healing from when I got my polinadal cyst... so I was on Medicaid and the doctors also weirdly chose to not close my wound all the way upon release of hospital and was curious if there's more, medically, that could've been done for me (or you if you're also on state aid) had we had actual paying insurance. Thank you.
Can we get a long term update?
years later the pain is coming back
Thank you for sharing and exposing your (personal & private) experiences with this infirmity and path back to health! You are very brave and appreciated!!! Mke
Did you get any nausea?
I would rather do the rout you did.
Would you get the surgery if it isn’t painful everyday and only get flare ups once in a blue moon?
No pics????
I feel really letdown at this point or to cry. Because what I can see on some people, the pannulectomy still leaves overhang. Why have it done then? I had high hopes and very excited that everything would change.
Were you charged for your for your repositioning of your naval?
My son is having this surgery right now as I type this. My heart fell to my stomach when the doc said he’ll be in tremendous pain for wks! Thanks for sharing this 😢
Hi I'm 40 and have struggled with this for years and now I have surgery in 2 weeks. How is your son now? I hope he is well💚
I also gone with surgery 5 months ago butt i can't sit for long time
@@hoggybhoy1967 Thanks for asking. My son is doing better and the wound has not completely sealed yet but it’s so so much better! The wound vac was essential to his recovery and so glad our insurance covered this. I hope your surgery goes well and successful outcome!
@@letyestrada7276 Glad to hear your son is doing better👍I'm from Scotland so thankfully I don't need to worry about paying for insurance for the time being. Thank you for your response. All the best to you and your family 🍀
Who would think a gorgeous girl like you would have this!!! Thanks a lot for being so open and honest, I'm sure you're helping a lot of people!!! Get well soon!!!
